Brief

Having a studio clothing shoot set up was something we wanted to showcase in our own environment. So what better to photograph and film than our own branded clothing.

We’ve been representing our own brand of clothing on locations and out and about for a year or two. It’s always been met with positivity in both the messaging we share and the quality of the product.

YouNeek Productions clothing is available for public purchase now, so we wanted to create some content for it. Like with many clothing brands, the content is what sells it initially. The designs, the setting, how it’s worn and where it’s worn are all important.

For this, we wanted to utilise the clothing on hangers in our studio. We have plenty of content of our clothing on locations, so this was the next piece.

Our
solution

In our studio we have three sets and backdrops. We knew the industrial set was the best fitting for the visuals we envisioned. We had a clothing rail ready for use, so angling them and placing a varying amount of products together was going to enable us with enough images for website and social use.

For a studio clothing shoot, it is heavily based on lighting. Our photographer worked on this set up before shooting anything. There’s a mood obtained in these images, and that fits the look we were going for.

Having these supplement the images and content we have already out on location filming was exactly what we needed. So it’s a great addition to our collection.

Outcome

Because of our studio clothing shoot, we now have an additional bank of images on top of in action shots. They add a nice style and mood to our items. They look great, and we know we can use these across social media and website use for when we want to promote our clothing more.

Creating a bank of content is something we advise clients of. We are taking our own advice and ensuring we have plenty of imagery available for future use with this studio clothing shoot.

There are more shoots required, but they will vary as our products do to model shots, candid, and everyday use style shoots. For this to work, the outcome we wanted was exactly what we got. Stylish, studio images of our designs and quality clothing.
