POWERbreathe | Product launch animation
Brief
Producing a product launch animation for our client POWERbreathe, who we had begun working with 12 months before was an exciting prospect. A product launch animation requires creativity and the ability to stand out and attract. POWERbreathe are a global company, so this was going to be seen in many different markets. Visually it had to tell the story.
There were also many technical aspects. As with a product like this, there’s a lot that needs to be highlighted accurately and clearly. This was essential for them and played a big part in the product launch animation we storyboarded and then produced.






Our
solution
Our process for animation is split into 3 sections – storyboard, design and animation.
The storyboard always carries the most responsibility because what is drawn up here for the product launch animation, is what moves forward to design and animation. We worked closely with the client on renders, drawings and product designs that were still being finalised.
It can be difficult for people to envision still images into a moving transition of animation, but it is our job to explain this diligently.
Once all amendments were made, discussed and agreed upon we moved into designing those with their branding included. Smaller elements like having the logo facing, graphs moving and showing at certain times were finalised here.
The animation stage brought all of it together.



Outcome
The outcome is the product launch animation you see here. We produced two, a trailer – this one, and a full launch version. We recorded voice overs with scripts for the full launch, but later decided it was more impactful without.
The whole piece comes together so well. One of the aims we had, and said to our client at the start is that we want this to feel like something you would see on TV. It certainly feels like that during watching the “advert” back.
Everyone involved was extremely pleased. The deadlines were ever changing due to their official launch. We did everything we could to ensure we delivered on time for this to be pushed out as part of their soft and hard launches.
As far as a product launch animation goes, we are very proud of this project and are happy to have our teams name on it.
