Ebco E-Bikes | Promotional Content

Brief

We were able to create some beautiful promotional content for Ebco E-Bikes spread over one hero video and three separate model videos. All in landscape, vertical and square.

Ebco hadn’t created any promotional content in video form until they came to us. So it was a new challenge they had specific ideas for, but wanted guiding through with the right people.

Ebco had the models, ideas for locations and a budget. We had the solutions to make those work and add our experience and flair to what was already a solid brief. We were fortunate that the weather on the chosen day of filming was stunning, making these visuals even more beautiful.

As with a lot of projects at the moment, a hero video was the priority, but there was an importance in having separate social content in square and vertical for each bike model. We were all over this.

Our
solution

Knowing the budget up front gave us a starting point for producing the promotional content required. It meant that we needed to schedule a day of filming where we were able to get to 3 locations and work with 3 different models and bikes at each.

Pre Production was imperative for this to happen. Constant communication, weather checking, timing schedules created and airport permission checks in place to be able to fly a drone. Coventry was the chosen location due to locality and the style of locations we wanted. Everything was set up to work.

Because of this, the day went like clockwork. We had the plans for the shots, we’d done a recce, the weather held out, and we knew exactly what the promotional content needed to look like. We had a drone for aerial perspectives at two of our locations. The on the ground footage focussed on close ups and action shots.

All built ready for a high energy edit making the bikes feel modern, appealing and visually pleasing in their own right.

Outcome

The hero promotional content film came out brilliant. We and the client had different views on the music initially, as our input was high-octane, but for some a little too much. After sitting on it a while, and showing a few other options, the key stakeholders agreed with our approach. We compromised on using an instrumental version.

Getting that locked in was the priority. The individual bike model videos were then up next. These had less of a brief than the hero video, so became an after thought in ways for both parties. When conducting further feedback and versions, we set on these videos having their own storyline. Initially they were to be clipped from the main video, but they didn’t have their own personality that way.

You can see an example of one of the vertical versions below of the “Street” bike.

We produced 4 videos, but each had 3 formatted versions, creating 12 in total. Another happy client, and a cracking project to add to our list.
